After 38 years an independent voice has stopped broadcasting in Rome

Italy: At the end of February Radio Citta Aperta left the air waves in Rome. After failing to secure funds the Italian capital has lost its only source of alternative music and a voice for its underground culture and music scene. FM 88.9 was sold to Gruppo RTL and from March 1 it has been home to the new radio station Radio Zeta L’Italiana.

Sweden – PPM ratings week 7/2016

The Swedish market is dominated by its public service broadcaster Sveriges Radio and its P4 station has a share of 50 per cent in week 7. The other two top spots are also SR stations, P1 and P3 respectively. The strongest commercial station was Mix Megapol, although it lost 0.6 percentage points from last week.
