First time in Ireland: Mapping listening habits real-time

Ireland: As the first Irish broadcaster Radio Nova is working with Audisense to gather real-time data about the listening habits of a core selection of their listeners. A passive metering app will provide data from 800 people every day.

The trial begins this month and will provide real-time analytics to brands, agencies and media owners to improve their targeting performance, powered by audio recognition and GPS technology. It is all done through an app from Audisense.

The app will recognise Radio Novas analogue FM-signal and pick up on such things as length of listening, switch-off points and where people are when the listening occurs. The most attractive part of the system is the real time delivery of these metrics.
