UK: From now on Heart will be known by their new slogan “Turn up the feel good!”. After 21 years the much copied “More Music Variety” slogan is dropped. At the same time Heart has made a slight design change to their logo, where the FM frequencies are smaller.
Listeners will probably argue it was about time the slogan changed. Five years ago a listener even complained to the industry watchdog Ofcom claiming “More Music Variety” was misleading. It didn’t lead to any investigation and Heart continued using the strapline.
The slogan change happened this week.
RadioToday reports that owners Global has also made a change – changing from This is Global to Global Media & Entertainment. Changes in effect across social media and online.
