Nominations out for first ever British Podcast Awards

UK: The BBC, Quidem, Somethin Else and David Lloyd are all shortlisted for Best Radio Podcast ahead of the British Podcast Awards. The winners of the awards will be announced at a ceremony at Central St. Martin’s Platform Theatre on Saturday 29th April.

Both established media organisations, new groups and a large number of independent creators are shortlisted.

– A huge thank you must go out to our judges who sifted through over 400 entries – and hundreds of hours of listening – to create such a diverse list of podcast, says Matt Hill, co-founder of the awards.
