Simple steps to contribute

#1 - Record

Make a recording of a radio programme. It should be a full hour and sourced from a terrestrial signal (AM/FM/DAB/DAB+). It could be a recording of yourself, your radio station or a station that you like.

#2 - Edit

We want a 'scoped' aircheck. This means you should remove all but a second or two on either side of a spoken element. Listen to other airchecks on the site to get an idea. Our focus is on the presenter(s).

#3 - Send

Save your aircheck as an mp3 file (44.1/16 bit/stereo), make a note of the radio station you recorded it from, the name of the show, the name of the presenter(s) and at what time the recording was made. Send it to us via a file sharing service like DropBox to aircheck@radioassistant.com. Never send the full aircheck as an attachment.
