By Gine Juel Lundgren Monday 16.06.08, 14:33 Making the transition from TV to radio is apparently quite easy, now the famous Norwegian TV-host Fredrik Skavlan will make, as others before him, that very same transition. It’s the Swedish audience that will benefit from Fredrik Skavlans talent as a presenter; this time on radio. He has been asked to perform guest presenting duties on public broadcaster Sveriges Radio’s summer show. Just being asked is considered an honour. The show, “Sommar i P1”, will be co-hosted by a number of well known personalities. The program itself has proved extremely popular since its debut in 1959. Among the other names on the presenter roster is the Swedish minister of social affairs Göran Hägglund, the swedish pop artist Robyn (Carlsson), the TV chef Tina Nordström and the Swedish action hero Dolph Lundgren of Rambo-fame. The Norwegian is not an unknown to the Swedish public. His popular show “Først og Sist”, massively popular in the Norwegian market, was also broadcast in Sweden. This time, though, it’ll be his voice and not his smile that enters Swedish homes. (NRK.no)
